A Triumphant Return to Singing!
The Maine Music Society is pleased to announce that it will be performing three concerts in the much anticipated 2021-22 Season.
After nearly two years of silence, the Maine Music Society will again raise our voices at the Gendron Franco Center for a joyous season of choral concerts under the baton of our new Artistic Director, Dr. Rick Nickerson.

Maine Music Society Introduces New Artistic Director
The Maine Music Society is pleased to welcome Dr. Richard Nickerson as its new Artistic Director. Rick comes to us as one of the most experienced and highly regarded choral directors in Maine. Most notable among his conducting roles are the Windham High School Chamber Singers, the Portland “Magic of Christmas” chorus and the Boy Singers of Maine. Although our 2020-2021 season has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the members of the Maine Music Society Chorale, Chamber Singers and Orchestra are excited about working with Rick and finding new ways to reach out to the community and continue their quest of making music soar.
