The Maine Music Society is excited to present “Classical Cuts,” a contest of musical memories

How many performances of the Androscoggin Chorale or the Maine Chamber Ensemble have you been to over the years?  How well do you remember what you heard?

(If you have sung with the Androscoggin Chorale or played in the Maine Chamber Ensemble in the past 5 years you are not eligible to win the prize, but send in your answer anyway - just for fun.

Here is a list of the music clips and winners to date:

  • "For Unto Us a Child Is Born" from Handel's Messiah - This was won by Ted & Connie Poppke
  • "Dies Irae" from Mozart Requiem - This was won by Joel Pelletier
  •  Brahms German Requiem, movement two - NO WINNER    :-(
