Open Choral Rehearsal
On Thursday, June 21, at 7:00 P.M. there will be an open rehearsal of the Androscoggin Chorale in the Concert Hall of Olin Arts Center at Bates College, 75 Russell Street. The Maine Music Society encourages singers in the area to give singing with Chorale a try. The group will be singing all new music so everyone will be sight-reading together. The rehearsal will last about 2 hours.
In addition, guest singers may schedule an audition to be held at another time if they wish. Joining the rehearsal is an opportunity for local singers to experience the joy of singing with the members of the Androscoggin Chorale and see what being a part of the group would be like. The Maine Music Society, with offices at 215 Lisbon Street, Lewiston, was formed in 1991 and embraces and supports the musical performances of the Androscoggin Chorale and Maine Chamber Ensemble.
